What is a Vertical Multistage Pumps & How does it work?

These are a type of Pumpsets in which multiple diffuser and impeller sets are mounted on top of the other connected via common shaft.
Each set of diffuser and impeller is called a stage. Pumpset having more than two stages are called multistage pumpsets.
Multistage Pumps which are built vertically are called Vertical Multistage pumpsets.
Multistage Pumpsets works on the idea that multiple stages connected serially, will impart high pressure force to lift the water to greater height.
